we’re considering to have our older son (15yr old) try the ortho-K treatment so he doesn’t need to wear eyeglasses during the day. Also to slow down the rate his myopia (~-4.0) advances. If it works out okay, we’d have our younger son (10yr old) do the same the following year. I’ve done some research re available treatment options, and was excited to find that Dr. Miyashiro is offering the service in Hilo. We would have otherwise needed to fly to Oahu for treatments.

The reason I’m writing is to get a quote on the cost of the treatment. The annual benefit enrollemnt period is coming up and we’d want to take advantage of the health spending account by contributing pre-tax dollars to be used for health related spending next year.
